The purpose of this study is to propose an individualized diagnosis system for non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation. The feature of this proposal is that highly-accurate localization method in the magnetic stimulation is developed after validating the procedure by comparing with the clinical data obtained in neurosurgery. This individualized stimulation was difficult to conduct because of the lack of efficient computational methods combining electromagnetics (up to centimetres) and nerve activation modeling (the diameter of fibre is the order of a few micrometers). Additional feature of this proposal is that the physical models are developed for each patients from magnetic resonance images, and thus it can be also applicable to individualized treatment system.
