Overview

The aim of this study is to establish methodologies of diagnostic assistance for organ tissue and functional information in multidisciplinary computational anatomy research and to develop high-degree computer-aided diagnostic (CAD) systems using spatial, functional and pathological models established by A01-2/A01-3 groups. We will mainly develop following systems: 1) sugar metabolism function CAD system, 2) water diffusion function CAD system, and 3) muscle and joint function CAD system. Through this research, we will establish technological principles regarding basic system development. The goals are to set up the clinical system development incorporating the multiple fundamental studies and to build and evaluate prototype clinical systems.
